Design Sprint

Reimagining Lattice’s Goals product

Context: Participated on a team of 4 in an intensive design sprint to reimagine Lattice’s Goals product. The idea was to identify a guiding problem, and move quick through design iterations and customer feedback to a useable prototype within 5 days. We followed the process in “Sprint: How to Solve Big Problems and Test New Ideas in Just Five Days” by Jake Knapp.

Outcome: The Design Sprint is about the process - identifying a user profile, widening your view of the problems at stake and narrowing in on a specific problem area, building a useable prototype rapidly and getting real customer feedback. We focused on the problem of low product usage and a solution of making the product more appealing by providing a line of site and easy mechanism for recognition of progress among varying management levels. At the end of the day, employees are highly motivated by 🎉 from their manager or their manager’s manager. By the end of the week, we had designed a v1 and tested it with customers.
