Revamping the Engagement Survey Template and Templates Library at Lattice
Context: Lattice was rolling out a new set of templated surveys in its Engagement product, prompting the need for a new way to organize the options and display each template for a quick overview. Adding to this, a new partnership model would increase the number of template offerings exponentially over the next year. The previous template library had no guiding information architecture, so addressing the IA was crucial as complexity was set to grow.
Problems:
How might we use IA to organize an increasing number of templates in a range of subject areas to make template selection easy and trustworthy?
How might we display the contents and value of each template for a quick read?
Solution:
For the IA, provide a set of 5 broad yet specific categories that align to Lattice’s stated strengths
For displaying the details, highlight the most critical elements that factor into users’ decisions to use or not use a survey in the most valuable screen real estate.
